Advertising Pays If you're a treatment provider, you may not treat clients who live 700 miles away, but an EAP provider 700 miles away may need a place to refer employees in your community. If you're an EAP provider, you may not have contracts with companies 700 miles away, but an EAP provider 700 miles away may need an affiliate provider in your community. Customers can't use your service or product if they don't know who you are or how to get in touch with you. That's why advertising pays. Prepayment discount — A 10% discount is allowed on all prepaid schedules of two or more insertions annually. To qualify for discount, payment must be received by deadline for mechanicals. Discount not applicable to advertising agencies. Rate Policy — Frequency rates are earned from the total number of display insertions within one contract year. For example, the four-time rate is based on four insertions within a 12-month period. Contracts and insertion orders for units of lower rates are not accepted. Advertisers who fail to comply with frequency contracts will incur a short-rate billing to reflect the actual space used at the earned frequency rate. Frequency rates must be predetermined in writing. Advertisers not submitting contracts are billed at the one-time rate regardless of the number of insertions. No rebates are given. Contracts in effect before a rate change qualify for protection of the previous rate card for a period not to exceed 12 months. |
